Bayonetta takes place in Vigrid.  The title character is a witch who and uses various firearms, along with magical attacks she performs with her own hair, to dispatch her foes. She awakens after a 500 year sleep and finds herself in an unfamiliar area with no memories of who or what she is. Over time, she begins to remember what caused her current predicament.

500 years before the incident that caused Bayonetta's memory loss, there were two factions preserving the balance between darkness and light in the world—the Umbra Witches, who are followers of darkness and their counterparts, the Lumen Sages, who are followers of light. The factions shared two distinct treasures, the 'Eyes of the World' that were separately named the 'Left Eye' and the 'Right Eye', which they used to oversee the passage of time. Both factions mysteriously disappeared from Vigrid under unknown circumstances.

Bayonetta still has an ornate piece of jewelry which contains a small red gem, and believes this gem is the 'Left Eye' of the 'Eyes of the World'. While searching for the "Right Eye", she often receives flashbacks that make her remember what caused her current predicament.

As far as games go, this is a good one.  Excellent story, non-stop action, fluid play controls, and beautiful graphics, make this a game that you do not want to miss.

The achievements for this game might be less than desirable.  Although a good majority of the achievements can be completed in a single play-through, in order to obtain all the achievements, 3 play-throughs is nessessary.  One on Medium, one on Hard, and one on Non-Stop Infinite Climax.

After playing through on Normal, and getting used to the controls, makes the Hard play-through none too difficult.  Though, Non-Stop Infinite Climax can be trying even for the very expirienced players.  If you would like, you can simply play through this difficulty normally like I did the first time.  Or, you can follow these steps that I learned through beating it for a certain someone.

Step 1:  Accumulate aprox 300,000 Halos
Yes, this does sound like it would be a very difficult tedious task.  But is not as difficult as it sounds.  First, is about 300,000 Halos. I don't remember the exact amount, but I know you will need around this amount.   You can earn this easily with-in one play-through.  Just work on stringing combos together, and work on earning Platinum and Pure Platinum Medals.  You will use this money to buy two important items:  The Gaze of Despair(Accessory), Selene's Light(Accessory) and the Durga Alt.  You will only be able to purchase the Durga Alt so long as you have delivered the LP that you completed in Chapter 5.  By having both Durga's, you will be able to equip a set on your hands and legs.  Once you have these three items, equip them and proceed to the next step.

Step 2:  Halo Farm Chapter 7 Boss
I could explain to you exactly what to do, but I think it would be easier if you just watch this video.  You will need to farm 5 Million Halos, before you can proceed to the next step.

Step 3:  Purchase the Climax Bracelet
Technically.  This item can only be purchased in Rodin's shop after you have collected all 101 Umbran Tears of Blood.  But, I'm not a big fan of technicalities.  With a pocket full of halos, level jump to Chapter 2, and head to the city plaza(Verse 3) and look for the telephones near the stairs.  You will stand in front of the telephone on the right, and do the following combination utilizing the D Pad:

UP, UP, UP, UP, DOWN, DOWN, DOWN, DOWN, LEFT, RIGHT, LEFT, RIGHT, RT

You now are out 5 Million Halos, but you have the greatest accessory ever:  The Climax Bracelet.  What this does is make all of Bayonetta's attacks as if she were fighting bosses all the time.  This allows you to annihilate anything in your path.  There is one downfall.  While this accessory is equipped, the medals that you earn will not be reflected onto the Sega servers.  But, this does not affect achievements.  So, if you don't care about this, then you are good.

In the next 1000 Achievement Club, I cover the easiest 1000 achievements that ever existed.
